Caricatures
For this project, I wanted to explore and develop my cartooning style, so I decided to do a caricature study with some of my favorite celebrities. Throughout this series, I experimented with different typefaces, colors, and backgrounds to bring each piece to life.
For each digital caricature, I started with a paper drawing of a reference photo, and then took a scanned digital copy of my drawing and imported it into Adobe Fresco, and added colors, backgrounds, text, and borders.
For the different backgrounds, I took some of my favorite photos and used Adobe Illustrator to digitize them. I love incorporating my photography into my designs, so I had a lot of fun with this part.
For my last caricature, I wanted to explore different styles, so I played with less harsh outlines and more shading.
